Nick pointed out nicely that just because a Startup received funding doesn't mean they're ready to spend it all on Day 1. However I disagree that you have to wait 2-3 months before you reach out.
By that time the action plan might have already been made.It's also 2-3 months you could have spent nurturing your Personas at that Startup so by the time you do reach out, they have a reason to trust you.
